Comparative Private Law (MLaw)

In autumn semster 2024, the course "Comparative Private Law" will be offered.  This course will introduce students to contemporary concepts and methods of comparative law. It will illustrate the functions of comparative law by examples taken from various systems of law as well as sources of uniform law. There will be different lecturers during the course, speaking about varying topics and subjects related to Private Law. Prof. Dr. Johannes Liebrecht will give three lectures on this course (Tue, 05.11; Thu, 07.11; Tue, 12.11.2024).

The course will be held in presence only. Please note that there will be no podcasting in order to encourage attendance of class.

All materials (powerpoint slides, further reading) will be published on OLAT (depending on the respective lecturer's choice before or after the course).
