Das Seminar ist ausgebucht!
In a globalised world, many family relationships have cross-border aspects. In the spring semester of 2019, Professor Tanja Domej and Guest Professor Yuko Nishitani (Professor at Kyoto University) will give a seminar dealing with international and comparative family law and procedure (for Bachelor and Master students).
The seminar will take place in Zurich from 1 to 3 April 2019.
In our seminar, we will discuss various - and often controversial - issues that can arise in this context. We will talk about topics such as
- Marriage and divorce
- Same-sex marriage or partnership
- Maintenance
- Child abduction
- Adoption
- Surrogacy
- Interculturality, transculturality and religion
Papers and presentations can be in English or German. They may deal with the topics addressed above or with other topics in the thematic context of the seminar from a comparative law perspective or from the perspective of how specific jurisdictions deal with cross-border, inter- or transcultural aspects of family cases.
There will be an introduction on Tuesday, 9 October 2018 at 12:15 in lecture room KOL-F-103 where students may sign up for a topic.
