Master's theses

It is possible to write a Master’s thesis under Prof. Kaufmann’s supervision, subject to individual agreement. To enable Prof. Kaufmann to determine whether she can supervise your Master’s thesis, please send the following documents (by email to the chair):

• Your Bachelor’s thesis
• Your outline for the Master’s thesis (fully developed, 1–2 A4 pages)

The outline should be a description of the subject and aim of the thesis, not yet a complete structure of the thesis. On the basis of this outline, we will invite you to a personal meeting to discuss the next steps. You will then submit the structure. A decision on supervision will be made on this basis.

Master’s theses are now only possible with a scope of 12 ECTS (approx. 40 pages; 1 ECTS = 30 hours of work).
