Information on postponing military service can be found on the website of the Swiss Armed Forces.
The request for postponement of service is supported by theStudent Center of the Faculty of Law as mandatory if the military service is to be performed during the semester in which bachelor's or master's examinations are taken.
In order to obtain the required signature for the service deferral form, submit the completed service deferral form (which you can find on the website of the Swiss Armed Forces) to the Student Center via the contact form (section "Deferral of military service"). The form, signed by the faculty, will be returned to you via email.
The Military Academy at ETH Zurich is responsible for students from all universities in the Zurich area.
