JFR-Tagung "Künstliche Intelligenz – menschliche Jurisprudenz"
Am 17. und 18. September 2026 laden Elif Askin, Matthias Hächler und ich zur 34. Tagung des Jungen Forums Rechtsphilosophie (JFR) zum Thema "Künstliche Intelligenz – menschliche Jurisprudenz" an die Universität Zürich.

IVR 2026 Special Workshop on AI and the Rule of Law
Matthias Hächler and I are organising a Special Workshop at the IVR World Congress 2026 in Istanbul (28.6.-3.7.2026). The topic is "Artificial Intelligence and Challenges to the Rule of Law". We welcome contributions from legal philosophers, political theorists, and scholars of AI ethics. Both established and early-career researchers are encouraged to submit abstracts of max. 300 words in English, German, or French to matthias.haechler@ius.uzh.ch and pascal.meier@ius.uzh.ch. We are planning to have presentations of 20 minutes each followed by open discussions of 20 minutes. The exact date of the Workshop is not yet known, but will probably be 29./30.6.2026. Spots are assigned on a rolling basis. Therefore, please submit your abstract as soon as it is ready but no later than 10.5.2026. Workshop Recht erKant
2024 wurde des 300. Geburtstags von Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) gedacht. Aus diesem Anlass organisierten Matthias Hächler und ich einen Workshop zu Kants Epistemologie und ihrer Bedeutung für Recht und Ethik. Angesprochen waren Doktorierende und PostDocs insbesondere aus Rechtswissenschaften und Philosophie. Die Tagung fand am 20. November 2024 im schönen Square in St. Gallen statt.
Im Anschluss an den Workshop fand die Kant-Tagung der SVRSP in St. Gallen statt.
