Die Veranstaltung ist ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt der ETH Zürich (Professoren Stefan Bechtold and Gérard Hertig) und der Universität Zürich (Prof. Andreas Heinemann). Es vermittelt einen Überblick über aktuelle interdisziplinäre Forschung Technologierecht. Wissenschaftler aus den Fächern Recht, Ökonomie und Informatik halten Vorträge oder präsentieren ihre aktuellste Forschung. Alle Referenten sind international bekannte Experten aus Europa und den USA.
The Workshop & Lecture Series is a joint project of ETH Zurich (Professors Stefan Bechtold and Gérard Hertig) and University of Zurich. It provides an overview of current interdisciplinary research on technology policy. Legal, economics, and computer science scholars give a lecture and/or present their current research. All speakers are internationally well-known experts from Europe and the U.S.

Die Studenten sollten am Schluss des Kurses fähig sein, wissenschaftliche Artikel aus dem Technologierecht aus einer interdisziplinären Perspektive zu verstehen und kritisch zu analysieren.
The goal of this course is for students to understand and critically analyze scientific papers on technology policy from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Um Kreditpunkte (ECTS) zu erhalten, müssen die Studenten mindestens 11 der 14 Lehrveranstaltungen besucht haben und vorgängig zur Vorlesungsreihe einen Kommentar zu den veröffentlichen Artikeln einreichen, welche als genügend benotet werden (mindestens acht Seiten).
In order to receive credit points, students must attend at least 11 of the 14 lectures/workshops on the program and write an accepted comments on the posted papers in advance of the lecture/workshop (8 pages minimum).
