Der Kurs vermittelt einen Einblick in die Grundprinzipien des europäischen Wirtschaftsrechts. Es werden die öknomischen Grundlagen der Europäischen Union und die Fundamente des Binnenmarktes behandelt. Die generelle Perspektive wird vervollständigt durch eine Analyse der wichtigsten Entscheide des Europäischen Gerichtshofs. Der Schwerpunkt liegt im freien Waren- und Dienstleistungsverkehr, der Personenverkehrs- und der Kapitalverkehrsfreiheit sowie im EG-Wettbewerbsrecht.
The course gives an overview of the principles of European Economic Law. The economic constitution of the European Union and the foundations of the Internal Market are dealt with. The general perspective will be complemented by an analysis of the most important cases of the European Court of Justice. The focus will be on the free movement of goods, services, persons and capital as well as on EC competition law.

Das Lehrbuch von Craig/de Búrca, EU Law - Text, Cases, and Materials, 5th Edition, ist Pflichtlektüre für die Lehrveranstaltung "European Economic Law". Die Studentinnen und Studenten werden gebeten, die in der Inhaltsübersicht angegebenen Texpassagen, vorgängig zur enstprechenden Vorlesung zu lesen.
The book of Craig/de Búrca, EU Law - Text, Cases, and Materials, 5th Edition, is compulsory reading for the course "European Economic Law". Students are asked to read the passages indicated in our outline beforehand.
Die Prüfung findet Ende Semester in schriftlicher Form statt.
The examination will take place in written form at the end of the semester.

In der Vorlesung vom 18.12.13 werden nur einige ausgewählte Themen behandelt. Die nicht behandelten Themen können anhand der Folien im Selbtstudium erarbeitet werden.
