Permanent Guests of Honor of UZH

The Extended Executive Board of the University can name individuals as permanent guests of honor for their special achievements on behalf of the university.

2005

Dr. Santiago Calatrava

In 2005, at the request of the Faculty of Law of the University of Zurich, the Extended Executive Board of the University bestowed the title of permanent guest of honor on the architect Dr. Santiago Calatrava in recognition of his enormous achievement in the construction of the Faculty of Law Library. Dr. Santiago Calatrava is also responsible for the conversion project, which led to the opening of the Faculty of Law’s “Ius Alumni House” in 2008.
